Breath is KEY to our Wellness!

There are so many different elements to our breathing and many benefits when we decide to become aware of the breath.

In these series, I am sharing foundational knowledge about the breath, its physiology and mechanics, and its benefits in our overall health.

Breath is the key to our emotional regulation and the bridge to our nervous system.

When we learn how to become aware and master our breath, we are able to stay in control of our emotional states. Through practice we establish new breathing patterns and habits, that will allow us to shift emotional triggers and stress in everyday life. We cannot avoid stressful situations, but we can definitely equip ourselves with the tools that will help us go through difficult situations more smoothly, with more awareness and a feeling of empowerment. One very important tool is our BREATH!

 

What’s included in the series

Breath 101: Introduction to breath and all the elements that comprise our breathing, its physiology and mechanics. The how's and why’s of the breathing techniques that are included.

Separate videos of all breathing techniques, explanation of the technique and time to practice alongside the video:

  • Bee breath

  • Diaphragmatic breath

  • Full yogic breath

  • Slower breath

  • Alternate nostril breath

  • Box breath
